While everyone else is out there trying to pin a date on the Rapture, I worry about those who deny the teachings of Jesus, Paul and Peter as well as John in the Book of Revelations when they hear about the church Body being taken up to join the “head” which is Jesus Christ prior to the Great Tribulation. I just watched an excellent video on this – the man explains it far better than I could. When you believe that God, via his Son Jesus Christ, gave us a way out of the Great Tribulation, you can see the references to it all throughout the Bible, especially in Paul’s teachings.
Paul had a vision of Jesus Christ, as did John the Revelator. Paul knew the other apostles, talked to them and understood well the gospel they preached. Before his conversion, he was a hater of Christians, going to far as to hang around in the court of Caesar and hold the coats of the men who stoned Stephen. Something huge had to have happened to him on the way to Damascus in order for his point of view to completely flip around in a 180-degree turn. He saw something. He talked to Jesus directly. He was handed the Revelation of Jesus Christ and told to spread the good news. If you believe the Bible, and know that God’s Word is alive, then you know that Paul is speaking the truth in his writings.
The “good news” wasn’t just that we as Christians who believe in Jesus are saved, it’s that we will be found worthy to escape the hour of testing, as John says in the first part of Revelation. You’re not going to win too many souls if you’re preaching Pre-Wrath doctrine, which (in a nutshell) says you’re saved in the last days, but you’re going to have to be tortured and martyred first. We as true Christians are willing to die for Christ, but if there’s a way to avoid torture on the way to it, that would be considered “good news,” in my opinion.
So how does Paul keep referring to the Rapture (a word coined in 1820 by a man looking for the English equivalent of the Greek word ‘harpazo’ – ‘to be caught up’). If you read his writings, particularly Hebrews Chapter 3 and 4, he refers to the word “rest.”
In Hebrews Chapter 4, Paul talks about who is going to enter into “God’s rest.” He states that Jesus will judge the hearts of men, cleaving their hearts and souls with a “double-edged sword.” In other words, Jesus does know our hearts and doesn’t need to “test us.” He can read us like a book. All the data he needs is already encoded in our hearts. If Jesus is going to judge us easily in this manner, why do Christians need to go through the Great Tribulation? Many Christians were and still are going though tribulations of various kinds since they took their first breath in this life. Note that I’m making the distinction between everyday “tribulations” versus the “Great Tribulation,” also known as the dreadful Day of the Lord.

“4 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

He is saying that if one is told the Gospel yet has hardened their hearts and still cannot bring themselves to believe in Jesus and His promise of Salvation, they will not be let into God’s “rest,” e.g, Paradise. This isn’t referring just to those who “sleep” (have died), but also those who are “alive and remain.” The Remnant, who are the Body of Christ, to be caught up to meet Him in the air. They will depart for a time until the Return, when Jesus comes back to judge the quick and the dead, and destroy the antichrist.
Those who preach Pre-Wrath doctrine ignore the Feasts and the High Holy days. They do this on purpose, dismissing it all as just tradition. You have to study the Feasts – they have meaning. They are observed for a reason. Has so many years gone by that we truly have lost their meaning to the dust of time? All we have to do is study.

Rosh Hashanah 2017 Rapture – More evidence by Bob Barber
The man names a date – which is more likely than any other date-set I’ve heard of up to this point – on Rosh Hashanah of this year, the Hebrew year 5777, the culmination of 70 years since the founding of reformed Israel, 50 years since they won back Jerusalem in the 6-Day War (jubilee year) and 70 jubilees since the first Pentecost. There is the Revelation 12 sign of the pregnant woman crowned with 12 stars, the sun over her shoulder, giving birth to the male child, and with the dragon waiting in front of her to devour the child. the child is taken away, though, before the dragon can devour it. This constellation has never been seen before (according to computer models) and never will be seen again. All the prophetic signs are blinking. Still people do not believe it’s going to happen. Even when Jesus says in Matthew 24 that just like in the days of Noah and in Luke, as the days of Lot, they will be doing ordinary, everyday things when sudden destruction comes upon them. When it does, it will be too late. The Rapture will have happened.
While no man knows the day nor the hour, if it’s any year the Rapture is likely to happen in terms of signs in the heavens, it’s 2017.
